Rate: £19,000-23,000 pro-rata

About us at Namix Performance:

Namix Performance is a hybrid centre containing a sports injury and massage clinic based in Northwich, Cheshire. The clinic was founded 2013 and offers a range of services such as Injury assessments and treatments, Sports Massage, Medical Acupuncture and Strength and Conditioning sessions to its clientele. In 2019, we opened our gym, which now provides memberships and personal training for customers. As the business has become increasingly popular, this has now allowed for a new therapist to join the clinic team and help the company grow even further. Namix Performance offers services to customers from every walk of life; this includes athletes and active individuals with sports injuries to customers who require attention from a work injury. The clinic offers individual treatment and has established sports club links, ensuring that no day is the same in the clinic.

Job Description:

  • Providing sports therapy/gym/personal training services to new and existing clientele, which includes but is not limited to the following:
    • Examining and assessing injuries of all customers
    • Designing and implementing rehabilitation for customers
    • Providing appropriate treatment and rehabilitation programmes for all customers
    • Collaborating with trainers on injury prevention programmes when required
    • Referring individuals to appropriate medical personnel when required
    • Advising on nutrition and lifestyle adjustments with the view to supporting recovery
    • Providing First Aid and administering treatment for minor injuries if required
    • Making decisions about whether athletes/customers/players can return to sport or work
    • Conducting gym tours, inductions for new gym members
    • Leading fun, challenging, and engaging group training sessions for members
    • Providing gym floor supervision during peak times in the gym.
  • Occasional assistance with marketing and promotional activities
  • Assisting with creating social media and web content for the business via Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok, and the Namix website.
  • Carrying out general admin duties including but not limited to the following:
    • Patient note-taking on the CRM system
    • Responding to e-mails/calls within a 24-hour response window
    • Updating client and gym records when required
    • Raising invoices and payments on the CRM system when required
    • Follow up calls and e-mails to patients within a 48-hour window after an appointment
    • Cross-selling and upselling different products/services to new and existing customers.
    • Assisting with cleaning and maintenance of the gym and clinic when required.
  • Responsible for developing professional relationships with clientele to enhance the opportunity for repeat custom
  • Occasionally attending events promoting Namix Performance
  • Liaising with the Company Directors on a day to day basis

Person Specification:

Namix Performance is looking for an enthusiastic, committed and personable therapist to join the team. In addition to the essential requirements below, the successful candidate will also possess excellent communication and organisational skills. They will manage a caseload of clients alongside liaising with the company directors and other key staff members. In addition to this, the successful candidate must be flexible as this role requires evening work with potentially weekend work.


  • BSc (Hons) Sports Therapy/Physiotherapy/Sports Rehabilitation (or similar)
  • Registration to one or more of the following bodies: SOST, BASRAT, CSP, HPC, SMA.
  • Full Professional Indemnity insurance
  • Valid first-aid certificate.
  • Experience in a Musculoskeletal setting
  • Excellent manual therapy and soft tissue skills
  • Computer Literate

Desirable but not essential:

  • Experience in a private healthcare setting
  • Qualifications in Pilates/Yoga
  • Qualifications in L2 Gym Instructing or L3 Personal Training
  • Qualifications in TCM or Medical Acupuncture
  • Qualifications in Manual Therapy/Taping/Sports Massage Therapies

Previous experience with CRM systems or social media marketing
