Strength. Grit. Community.

It’s back… and it’s bigger than ever!

On Sunday 1st February 2026, The Namix Games: Winter Edition is landing at Namix Performance Centre, Northwich (CW9 7TT) — and this time, you’ll lift heavier, go further, and push harder than before.

This isn’t your average fitness challenge. It’s the ultimate test of strength, endurance, and teamwork — all rolled into one high-energy day on the Namix floor.

Whether you enter solo or as a pair (same-sex or mixed), you’ll take on three brutal yet balanced events designed to test your engine, power, and mental toughness.

Event Structure

You’ll face three zones, with 10 minutes’ recovery between each one. Every second and every rep counts.

Zone 1: The Lift

Namix Games Lift

Two lifts. Maximum effort.

  • Barbell Deadlift – 5RM
  • Barbell Strict Press – 8RM

Standards & Rules:

  • Only a 20kg Olympic barbell may be used (no hex bar).
  • No straps allowed — chalk only.
  • Full extension at the top of the deadlift; plates must touch the floor for each rep.
  • Strict Press = arms only. No leg drive. Bar must return to shoulder height between reps.
  • No long pauses between lifts.
  • If movement standards aren’t met, it’s a no rep. Pairs must both complete both lifts. If one doesn’t lift, their score will be recorded as 0kg and included in the pair’s total.

Zone 2: The Engine

Namix Games

12 minutes of pure cardio grit.

  • 6 Minutes – Max Distance on SkiErg
  • 6 Minutes – Max Distance on Rower

Rules:

  • Start both machines from 0m.
  • No rest between pieces — move straight from SkiErg to Rower.

Distances from both are combined for your final total.
